In compliance with the California Healthy Youth Act, all Da Vinci Schools will hold two sessions of the California Healthy Youth Act (CHYA) Webinars provided by Da Vinci Schools school nurse, Dr. Emily Green. Please CLICK HERE for the letter from Dr. Green.
The DV Connect HS CHYA webinars will be held on:
Mon/Thurs A/B cohort: March 22 and 29; 12:30pm-1:30pm
Tues/Fri C/D cohort: March 23 and 30; 1:05-2:05
The daily class schedules for those days listed above will be slightly altered to accommodate. Please CLICK HERE for the daily class schedules that have been adjusted timewise to accommodate.

Connect High Reopening Plan–Respond to Survey!
Greetings Connect HS Community,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Phase II Reopening Plan meeting this evening. If you missed it, this e-mail contains everything you need to know, including a recording of the meeting. We understand the difficulty of navigating the wide range of emotions, perspectives, and opinions that come with processing this plan. We know that it has been an extremely difficult year for all of us, and this plan certainly does not eliminate or alleviate that entirely. However, this plan does show care for ALL community members at Connect, and is a strong stepping stone to our return to “normal.” Thank you for the ongoing trust, support, and grace you have shown us as we navigate one of the most challenging times in our educational careers. We cannot wait to see you and your students back on campus sometime soon.

Phase II Re-opening Plan Meeting TONIGHT at 7pm!

Career Fair- Volunteers needed!
Greetings!
Da Vinci Schools is hosting a Virtual Career Fair on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 12:30pm – 3:00pm. We are looking for panel speakers to share their careers and work experiences with Da Vinci students via ZOOM. This is a great opportunity to expose our students to a variety of careers. You do not need a degree and/or certificate to be a part of Da Vinci Schools Virtual Career Fair. We would like to encourage anyone that would like to speak about their experiences within their career or profession. If you are interested in volunteering as a virtual panel speaker, please complete the following Google form Virtual Career Fair Form by Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 4:00pm.
To complete the Google form, you will be required to include your ZOOM link information. This information will be used for students to access your ZOOM room during the career fair. In the Google Form there is a step by step YouTube video explaining how to get started with your ZOOM account and how to schedule a meeting.
Panel speakers will be hosting 20-25 minute sessions starting at 12:30pm with a 5-10 minute break in between sessions. The sessions will start at the following times: 12:30pm, 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, and 2:30pm. To help panel speakers prepare for their sessions, the following are questions you can consider preparing for and answering, Panel Speaker Career Questions. It is not required but recommended that you prepare a presentation.

Exploring Careers with SpaceX!
When: Friday, March 19 11:30am-12:30pm
Join us for a Lunch and Learn session with various SpaceX employees who will talk about specifics of their careers within the company.
All students are welcome to join and will be encouraged to come with questions to ask. We plan on making this an interactive session to make connections.
