Recently your learner sat for the MAP assessment. In the coming days you will be receiving the results of that assessment in the form of a “Family Report”. The “Family Report” is being mailed to your home and should arrive in a few days. Please take time to review the “Family Toolkit” published by NWEA which provides insight and information on how to understand MAP Assessment in general and how to interpret/read MAP results. The Family Toolkit can be accessed here:
https://www.nwea.org/the-map-suite/family-toolkit/.
Please review the entire toolkit, but pay particular attention to the “What is MAP Growth” video, “Meet the Family Report” blog and the “Family Guide to MAP Growth” guide.
Here is a sample family report, please click on this link: GR_SampleFamily
We want to make sure that if you have any questions about the scores once received, Dr. Johnson along with your learner’s counselor and teacher would be happy to coordinate a meeting to discuss and support you as you review your learner’s scores. Any questions about MAP, please email Dr. Johnson at kjohnson@davincischools.org
