Over the course of three presentations, Rebecca Lippman establishes groundwork for embracing the fact that scholarships exist for everyone, regardless of academic merit or personal background. Without a good strategy, however, these scholarships feel difficult to find. Employing strategies that she has developed over the past decade as an instructor, Becca walks participants through a routine of practices used to identify, apply for, and manage scholarships. These interactive tools and sequenced action items enable students to succeed in their customized searches for community-based scholarships, subsequently reducing the cost of higher education.

In this presentation, Becca demystifies the complex network and application processes related to scholarships for college and prepares you for the tuition ahead. Attendees learn why merit and community-based scholarships are so hard to navigate, how to approach the scholarship search process, and what the realistic timeline looks like if you or your student plans Fall enrollment.
