Music class opportunity: Studio Orchestra
Mr. Toby Harwell is hosting a UC/CSU VPA Area “F” Instrumental Music seminar to our students. He is holding Studio Orchestra class meetings on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 2:50-4pm during this school year. This is a year-long commitment, and open to any students with at least 1 year of prior experience with wind or string (violin, viola, cello, bass) instruments. He is aware of the asynchronous nature of our programming and will make every effort to accommodate all interested students…even if they can only participate in one of our two weekly meetings. When Jessica is sent to San Pedro on a journalistic assignment, she finds much more than she bargained for. Traveling through Pedro’s rich and colorful past, present and future, Jessica finds a community in the midst of radical change. A romantic comedy with music, PEDRO PLAY explores the meaning of home and features members of the San Pedro community on stage in collaboration with Cornerstone Theater Company.

El Segundo Police Department Summer Youth Camp
Good Morning Da Vinci Families,
El Segundo Police Department is hosting their 1st annual Summer Youth Camp for teenagers 14-17 years old. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about Drones, SWAT, K9,CSI, Detectives and the Cadet Program. As we approach the new school year, we ask new and returning families to complete our annual First Day of School Forms on SchoolMint. These forms are critical to ensure that we have your family’s current information on file.
Completing First Day of School Forms will require you to log in to your existing SchoolMint account, review contact information, sign off on annual parent notifications, and then SUBMIT at the end.
It is critical that we have these documents completed prior to your child starting school. Please take some time to complete and submit all forms on SchoolMint, before Tuesday, August 1st 2023 at 11:59PM.

Cxmmunity welcomes you to a new online workshop for high school and collegiate students interested in STEM and Gaming on August 8th 5:00-6:30pm EST.
This virtual workshop guides participants through resume building and creating their portfolios. Utilizing tools and knowledge about the career paths within the esports and gaming industry, participants will build a portfolio that includes the following:

UCLA Health Sports Performance/EXOS SPEED CLINIC- July 22
UCLA Health Sports Performance/EXOS SPEED CLINIC
Join the UCLA Sports Performance/EXOS for our first FREE speed clinic on July 22, 2023 from 9-12pm at the Campus El Segundo Athletic Field. This event is for student athletes ages 8 and above. You will work with EXOS and the top performance specialist and dial in your mechanics for acceleration and max velocity.
The goal with this speed clinic is to expose student athletes to the elite training that professional athletes are exposed to, while educating and having fun in a great environment. Register here today!

9am- Introduction and warm up
9:30am- Begin movement skill (acceleration & absolute speed)
