Through our partnership with L.A. Cash for College, students who attend can enter to win a $1,500 scholarship. Registration is not required, but encouraged.

The California Dream Act Application (CADAA) is now open for applicants with contributors who do not have a social security number and are unable to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) recently made this option available to allow students to meet the May 2, 2024, state and institutional financial aid priority deadlines.

Students and their non-SSN contributors who choose the CADAA option, should continue to pursue the StudentAid.gov account creation and identity verification process to successfully complete the 2024-25 FAFSA and maximize their financial aid opportunities. The CADAA does not provide access to federal student aid.

WHAT TO KNOW FOR STUDENTS WITH FAFSA CORRECTIONS:

The U.S. Department of Education says corrections to FAFSA are widely available. They’ve also said schools should receive an updated transaction record within 1-3 business days and a student should be able to review a new FAFSA submission summary in the same time frame.
