The Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department (LA Civil Rights), in collaboration with Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA) and Picture Motion, will be hosting a panel discussion and private screening of the film The Space Race, which highlights the stories of Black astronauts striving to overcome social injustice. Join our 2025 International Immersion Trip to Costa Rica!
The deadline to sign up with the current plan is Thursday, 2/29/24!
We will be travelling to Costa Rica from February 22, 2025 to March 2, 2025 and doing a homestay with local families, attending Spanish classes in the mornings, and experiencing Costa Rican culture at its core through activities such as dance and cooking classes, zipline tours, and walks through the rainforest.
