School Site Council!

 Here are the dates for SSC meetings all year:

11/14, 12/12, 1/30, 2/27, 3/27, 5/1 and 5/31

Connect HS students will be taking the MAP test in Math and English next week.  The MAP test is an adaptive test that is used to collect student data to measure student growth and make informed decisions on instruction.   In order to do this we have revised our class schedule for next week (moving advisory to the first class of the day).

MAP Test Schedule (10/31 – 11/4)
Advisory 9:15 – 11:10 (MAP Testing)
Per. 1  11:15 – 12:20
LUNCH 12:20 – 12:50
Per. 2 12:55 – 2:00
Per. 3 2:05 – 3:15

SLCs begin tomorrow!   We are excited for your students to share with you all the progress they have made this year, as well as, their plans for the rest of the year!
If you are attending in-person please be sure to come with a valid form of identification and plan to arrive a few minutes early we need to check everyone in.

Just a reminder, this week 10/19th, 10/20th and 10/21st are Student Led Conferences.   During these 3 days students will have asynchronous (at-home work) and will not be on campus, UNLESS they are coming to campus with you to do their SLC in-person (ZOOM options are available).

Saturday, September 17 at 9:30am please join us for a New and Returning Parent Orientation.  The orientation will be held on campus at 550 Continental Blvd in El Segundo.  Please drive around and enter the building at the school entrance with the blue lunch tables and cones in front.

A zoom link will be sent later today for families that cannot attend in person and the meeting will be recorded as well.

• We have two fire drills scheduled for 8/30 and 9/1 (one for each of our cohorts).  The time has not been set yet.  We will update you with time and dates for our other drills as soon as we have them.
