Afro LA is starting a youth book club. Their virtual kickoff is this Sunday, April 16th from 2-4 pm. All teens 9th-12th grade are welcome, regardless of where you live in the L.A. area or where/how you go to school.

Afro LA is a solutions-focused, data-driven and community-centered journalism for Los Angeles, told through the lens of the Black community, and with emphasis on how news may disparately impact L.A.’s most vulnerable groups and communities of color.
