We are excited to announce that our school will be offering the PSAT for 11th graders on October 30th! The PSAT is a valuable opportunity to prepare for the SAT, track academic progress, and potentially qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

I wanted to share information about the upcoming Fall 2024 Greater Los Angeles NACAC College Fair at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Over two hundred college and university representatives from around the country met with 10,000 students and parents at this event in previous years.

Below you will find useful information to assist students and their families to take full advantage of this once-a-year opportunity.

Online Student Registration – Students may now register online prior to the college fair and bring their printed or electronic barcode to the fair. Online registration is optional, but highly recommended to save time when talking to college representatives. NACAC does not offer mass registration. The College Matchmaking feature has been updated and will be available when students register for the fair so that students get matched to colleges and universities based on their respective interests.

Doing so will allow them to receive a printed or electronic barcode, which they can use at the event to save time when speaking with college representatives. While online registration is optional, it is highly recommended to streamline the experience.

Additionally, the College Matchmaking feature has been updated and will be available during the registration process. This tool helps students connect with colleges and universities that align with their interests, enhancing their experience at the fair.

October marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re excited to share a heartfelt initiative with you.

On October 2nd and 3rd, we invite all students to join hands in a show of support by wearing pink!

By wearing pink, we not only raise awareness for breast cancer but also demonstrate our unity in the face of adversity. Each pink garment becomes a symbol of hope, reminding us of the importance of early detection and prevention!

Let’s come together, in pink, and make a profound statement about our commitment to making a difference. Your small gesture can lead to significant change!
