South Bay Families Connected
Did you know that Da Vinci Schools are included among 115 South Bay Families Connected Partner Schools? Through this partnership, our parents and staff have free access to resources and educational events addressing a wide array of youth wellness topics, from healthy tech use to substance use prevention. We invite you to attend any of their upcoming events, including screenings of the new Screenagers film and the fentanyl prevention film “Come Back Home”, as well as the monthly Families Connected Parent Chat support group. Be sure to check-out this month’s Families Connected newsletter and sign-up to gain access to new resources and events each month. Informational Zoom meeting for Costa Rica Immersion Trip!
¡Hola, Connect High School students and families!
Connect High School is excited to announce our 2025 International Immersion Trip with Prometour! We will be travelling to Costa Rica from February 22, 2025 to March 2, 2025 and doing a homestay with local families, attending Spanish classes in the mornings, and experiencing Costa Rican culture at its core through activities such as dance and cooking classes, zipline tours, and walks through the rainforest.
We have a final informational meeting available: Wednesday, 9/18/24 at 6:00pm via Zoom passcode 679284.

SEMINARS take place on campus at CHS from 1pm-1:50pm on Wednesdays—first day is Wednesday, 9/11.
ENSEMBLES take place on T/TH from 2:40-3:55pm at the 201 campus (shuttle provided)—first day is Tuesday, 9/10.
LAUSD Region South College & Career Fair
Check out the annual LAUSD Region South College & Career Fair taking place on Saturday, September 28th, from 9 AM – 1 PM, at the CSU Domínguez Hills campus. This is the 27th year of the event.
Representatives from over 80 colleges to be in attendance, including HBCUs, who will be there to provide students and families with a wealth of information on their respective institutions. Tours of the CSUDH campus will also be available as well as many workshops on applications, financial aid, and more. See attached flyer.

Dear WDV Soccer Community,
We hope this message finds you well. This notice is to inform you that the informational meeting for the 2024-25 WDV Girls Soccer season, originally posted as being scheduled for September 5, 2024, has been postponed and will be rescheduled.
Please stay tuned for our announcement with the new date and time.
