School Site Council Student and Parent Spots Open!
Attention Connect Students, Parents and Staff! We have multiple positions open on Connect’s School Site Council! The council meets quarterly to conduct school business and represents students, parents and staff from across Connect K8, Connect HS and DVX. We have a fabulous team already and are excited to invite additional members to fill open positions. As a formal council, these positions are filled by flying the position, accepting applications and conducting an official vote (students vote for students, parents vote for parents and staff vote for staff). The council discusses school business and gives input into budget items including state grants.
If you would like to participate as an official School Site Council member, fill out this google form by Friday, February 11th. We will compile all interested candidates so that students/parents/staff can vote for their representatives.

Ball State- Youth Design Forum- Summer Programs
For the past twelve years Ball State’s Interior Design program has offered a high school Youth Interior Design Forum. This is a workshop experience where high school students of all levels learn about interior design in a hands-on way. The workshop explores fundamentals of 2D and 3D concepts, basic drawing and illustration skills, use of color and light effects, and how interior environments affect human behavior. At the end of the workshop, students have new friends, new perspectives, and a personal portfolio full of ideas!
This year, once again, we will be offering a ten day on-campus workshop during the summer and two online workshops during the summer for high school students who have an interest in studying interior design at the college level. Registration for the summer Youth Interior Design Forum is open now.
For more information and registration please see the attached flyer and visit our website at www.bsu.edu/designforum.
Please also feel free to call 765.285.1471 or e-mail at rahmadi@bsu.edu., if you have any questions.
