WHAT: Da Vinci Schools in partnership with Saving Hearts Foundation and UCLA presents a FREE cardiac screening event Saturday, November 16, 2024. Pre-register now! Walk-ins welcome, those with appointments seen first!
WHY: Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a life-threatening emergency that occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating. While often linked to chronic medical conditions, SCA alarmingly stands as the leading cause of death among athletes and on school campuses. 1 in 300 young individuals harbors an undetected heart condition, significantly heightening their risk of SCA. Come get an EKG, see a cardiologist on the spot if any abnormalities are detected for immediate follow up.

We will be conducting Critical Incident drills on Monday (10/28) and Tuesday (10/29). Although we do not evacuate campus during these drills we do have ESPD and additional DV security present to assess how effective our safety plan is.
Please remind your students to take these drills seriously.

There are a limited number of spots available for you to sit and take the PSAT at Connect High School on Wednesday October 30th. In order to have the best chance possible to reserve yourself a spot, you must click on THIS LINK and fill out the form ASAP. Spots will be given to 10th graders on a first come, first served basis, so fill out the form ASAP!

This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to complete the PSAT Interest Survey is quickly approaching. Please submit your response by Monday, October 9th to let us know if you plan to take the PSAT on October 30th.
